"This is my 2nd session on a sleeve. The tattoo artist's are great to be around. They're vibe is really chill,and up beat. They're easy to work with and make you feel at home at the shop. They will work on what you're interested in or offer ideas to you. "Super solid shop with really chill and EXTREMELY knowledgeable staff. I came in for my first tattoo about a week ago. They were quick to get me signed in and before I was even signed in Chris began sketching my tattoo so we could get a better idea about placement, cost, etc. The shop is decorated really cool so it looks less like a doctor’s office and more like a place where every item/painting/piece has its own story. Chris did an absolutely flawless job and got me in and out quickly as well. They also provide extremely detailed aftercare procedures to make sure you know how to treat the tattoo while it heals. I plan on moving to FL or another part of VA soon but I am planning to fly back just so I can get more tats from this specific shop."

"I had a piercing nightmare/emergency. A lip piercing I had for 15 years out of no where swole up and was crazy angry. I got meds so swelling went down but I could no longer see the backing so I could take it out. I began to panic. Reached out to my girl Kelsey told me to head over to Black Rose to see PU and he’d take care of me. He did seriously AMAZING! He looked at it and explained to me what happened and next steps. He talked me through the whole process and what outcome would be and my options. He was able to save my piercing and made me feel so much better! I went in and met with Kaitlyn, and I was finally able to get this done. She did an amazing job and I am so happy with it. The tattoo came out beautiful and my family loves it as well. "I have gotten two tattoos at this studio. Fun atmosphere laid back but still professional and VERY knowledgeable. The artist are very talented and they will take whatever amount of time is needed to answer your questions. I witnessed a phone call that was very lengthy, the customer on the phone wasn't even a client at this studio, and still Kelsey took the time to answer all her questions and give her sound advice and schedule a time for her to come in , in person and address the issue she was having. I highly recommend this place. The owners are fabulous people. You don't find many genuinely GOOD people anymore. If your a 1st timer I recommend you booking a consultation. You will be placed at ease and they aren't afraid to turn away business if your expectations are unrealistic for what they can provide. Also tattoos are forever, don't be cheap. "Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone that is considering getting a tattoo. Kelsey was my artist and she was beyond amazing from start to finish. I originally tried getting a quote from another shop and they pushed me aside saying that my tattoo wasn't "big enough to warrant an appointment and should just be a walk in." I told Kelsey that since it was my first tattoo I wanted to make sure that I got exactly what I wanted without feeling rushed. Once we set up our consultation she went out of her way to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. We had to reschedule a couple times due to my schedule and she was understanding about that as well! Once we got started she offered me lots of breaks and checked in multiple times to make sure that I was feeling okay. I am beyond obsessed with my tattoo and I can't wait to head back for more from her! She gave me her personal number and said multiple times that I should reach out with any concerns I might have. After telling the receptionist what I was looking to have done, she recommended Sheyanne to take care of me. She is a wonderful and professional artist who was able to help me out with no issues.
